This newer home is tastefully
furnished in the Asian
tropical style and has
beautiful views of the
ocean, coastline and sunsets
of Kona. It is conveniently
located nine miles south
of the airport on the
mauka (mountain) side
of the Queens Highway.
It is about five minutes
by car to the center of
town, shopping, restaurants,
etc. There are many beaches
and activities close by
as well.
There are two levels in
the house. The upstairs
level has the master bedroom
with a queen-sized bed
and the master bathroom
has a Jacuzzi tub. There
is also an office with
a day bed that can be
used for a small child.
The kitchen and living
room are also upstairs
and the living room has
a queen sized sleeper
sofa in it. There is also
another bathroom upstairs
in addition to the master
bathroom in the master
bedroom.
The downstairs has two
bedrooms, a bathroom,
and a family room. One
of the downstairs bedrooms
has a queen sized bed
and the other bedroom
has a twin trundle bed.
The family room also has
a twin sofa bed. There
are plans to install a
partial kitchen in the
downstairs family room.
This will be completed
by October, 2006. There
is also a laundry area
downstairs with a full
sized washer and dryer.
The downstairs family
room opens out to a stone
patio with a George Foreman
barbecue grill. The yard
is professionally landscaped
with many tropical and
native Hawaiian plants,
flowers, and fruit trees.
